Explanation:
Brought to the west by Minoru Mochizuki in 1951, Aikido defines a religious and spiritual orientated form of budo. Sharing aspects with Karate and other better-known Japanese arts, its trainees are able to synchronize spiritual soundness with both offensive and defensive fighting techniques.
