Definition:
The Rosicrucian Order is a very secretive cult formed centuries ago, mixing the dogma of Christianity with Egyptian religions and ancient mysticism such as alchemy. There are various legends and rumors about the Rosecrucians, but in reality almost nothing is known. It’s said to have been started by a Christian pilgrim named Christian Rosenkreutz who studied occultism in the Middle East later on in his life. Rosicrucians tell an alternative story of Jesus Christ, one that differs sharply from traditional belief. For centuries there has been speculation about Rosicrucians, including an association with the illuminati and the freemasons, even the CIA, and thus the Rosicrucians fell into a natural role in conspiracy theories. How much of this is true is anyone’s guess, as this secret order has become as legendary and unexplainable as UFOs, Bigfoot, and the Loch Ness monster. Stories continue to this day as to the dark mysteries of this occultic group. fnord!
